The 11th Palms & Flamingos's release comes from Onosizo & Upstroke.
When listening to ''The Craze Won't Fade'' EP, one immediately catches the vibe of Old School Funk mixed with a modern touch of Club Music. Upstroke, who provides the rhythms and synths on ''The Craze Won't Fade'' and ''Stir It Up'' refers to this as ''Cali House''. The synth-sounds lay smoothly under Onosizo's voice, but it's the bass-lines and the bass-sounds that give the songs that modern-day ''Club-Push''.
They are hard to ignore on the dance-floor.

Sasha Upstroke already released an EP together with Palms & Falmingos's label honcho Click Click on the Californan label Smoke N' Mirrors. So it was only a question of time to bring him on the board of the Palms & Flamingos boat!

Onosizo, better known to most as Ono, was the frontman of the 90s Hip Hop band Walkin Large and of the Berlin based Electro-Rap-Crew Data MC.
